I love cheesecake but I find it slightly heavy for summertime... So, instead of making an actual cheesecake, why not flip it around and make cheesecake stuffed strawberries instead? What a genius idea! You are eating more fruits than cheesecake but you still get that rich and creamy deliciousness in every bite! The best part is that you pretty much eyeball everything in this recipe according to your taste. So easy, so yummy, and most importantly your bikini body will thank you! ;)

What you need: Strawberries, cream cheese, powder sugar, vanilla extract, graham crackers

How to make:
1. Rinse and pat dry the strawberries. Cut around the top and hollow out the middle (but don't pierce through the bottom).
2. Cut the bottom tip of the strawberries flat, so that they can "stand up straight" on a plate.
3. Mix cream cheese, powder sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl. For your reference, I use 4oz cream cheese with 2tbsp sugar and 1tsp vanilla, for 8 strawberries. Add more sugar if you want sweeter.
4. Scoop mixture into the strawberries. I usually just use a spoon, but you can use a piping bag if you are feeling fancy!
5. Crumble up some graham crackers and sprinkle on top!

Summer is in full force here in the San Francisco Bay Area and I cannot resist palm prints of any kind, particularly this one from Show Me Your MuMu. I love how the touch of pink makes it a bit more sassy and flirty. I suppose that is why the print is called Key West Barbie! This halter dress is just easy breezy, so cute and comfortable. It looks darling with heels but I opted for flats since I was walking all over Berkeley visiting my alma mater (Go Bears!) and soaking up the sun down in the Marina. Not to mention how my pink Tieks flats with the signature teal sole match my dress perfectly! Are you into palm print? What print do you love wearing in the summertime?

I truly believe that everything looks better with a bow! The bigger, the better! Take this romper I am wearing as an example... would I be as excited about it if there isn't a bow? Probably not. I love the chambray and the trapeze silhouette (which is unusual for a romper) but that giant bow just makes it one hundred times better. It looks so chic, don't you agree? Unlike most bloggers who posted their patriotic look(s) before July Fourth, I didn't wear any red white and blue until the actual holiday. This was my real outfit taken on the actual July Fourth... blue chambray romper, red bucket bag with cute scallop details, and striped heels! Also, I am digging how my hair looks when it's pulled back into a sleek ponytail. Might start doing that more, what do you think?

Holiday weekends might be great for traveling, but since that extra dose of traffic is inevitable we tend to explore locally. Often times, a gem of a town is less than an hour away... take Sausalito for example! We visited this quaint little town across the Golden Gate Bridge the day after July Fourth. Although it was jam-packed with people, the weather was absolutely glorious with a clear view of the San Francisco skyline. We spent the afternoon eating, shopping and strolling along the waterfront. On our way home, we took a scenic detour through Marine Headlands. Suddenly all the tourists disappeared, the fog rolled in, and I felt like I was in a dream. The endless fields and windy roads were just breathtaking (we even spotted a beautiful bobcat)! On a different note, I like to dress down when I am out and about all day. A semi sheer oversized button-up paired with cute gingham pants (love how the subtle windowpane print matches the gingham), comfy espadrilles, and a structured satchel make the perfect travel uniform!

All eyes on me, literally. I've got eyes around my neck and eyes on my feet. I always love a good eye print but lately I find myself being more into it than ever! Perhaps summer is making me feel extra groovy! Either way, I think this Lumen necklace by Lulu Frost and these eye print flats are quite awesome! Speaking of awesome, this striped babydoll dress from Pixie Market is pretty awesome as well! I love the ruffled sleeves and the billowy silhouette, it is perfect for a hot summer day!
