On the last day of my whirlwind Germany trip, I decided to stay behind a few hours and venture out to Munich on my own to explore. I figured if I was flying all that way, I might as well make the most out of it, right? My driver dropped me off in the middle of the city, and with my google map (on my iphone) in hands, I was ready to run around town for the next 4 hours... and my oh my I sure did! Frauenkirche, Marienplatz, St. Michael's, Hofgarten, Hofbräuhaus, etc. I even climbed up the bell tower of St. Peter's (Munich's oldest church) for a breathtaking view of Munich. It was definitely worth the 308-step climb! And yes, of course I had to enjoy a refreshing glass of beer with my lunch! Munich was beautiful, it was so amazing to be back on European soil after 6 years and I can't wait to go back soon, hopefully later this year.

After a great night sleep at Schloss Elmau, we woke up bright and early for the big System Professional brand immersion day at Lanserhof Tegernsee (one of the world's best spas that features System Professional). Influencers from different parts of the world were brought together under one roof to learn about all the beauty and science behind System Professional. No two people have the same hair and System Professional created EnergyCode Mapping in which your hair can be evaluated through their in-depth app to generate your own unique code. Each code corresponds with a shampoo, conditioner, and other products such as masks, oils and treatments. Mine is SOL1 + H2 + H3 + SOL4 + L5. The purpose of the Energy-Code is that these products are so personalized that hair can be restored to its healthiest and purest state. It was a very educational and informative day but it was also very fun as well! Not only did we each get pampered to a blowout session with massages, we also got to hang out with System Professional brand ambassadors Poppy and Chloe Delevingne. I am so excited to use my System Professional products and can't wait to see my hair transform!

A few weeks ago, I had an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to Germany with System Professional for a brand immersion event. But before I dive into that (in my next blog post), I want to share with you the beautiful resort I stayed at during my trip. About an hour and a half outside of Munich, in Bavaria, lies a luxury resort and spa called Schloss Elmau. When I walked into my suite, my jaw just dropped. So spacious and that view... of the mountains, was simply extraordinary to wake up to every morning. The property was stunning and there were countless infinity pools (six I believe, if I counted correctly). All the meals (and countless wine) I had was top notch as well. Did I also mention I had the pleasure to experience the best full body massage ever? It might have been the most whirlwind trip to Europe, but I had the most wonderful and relaxing time at Schloss Elmau. Definitely wouldn't mind flying 12 hours for a spa day again!

Who says you can't wear black in the summer? Wearing white or light colors might be the typical thing to do in terms of wardrobe but there is something quite refreshing about wearing black during the summertime. I stayed cool and chic in this INC International Concepts outfit while in LA last weekend. I absolutely adore the floral embroidery on the off shoulder top, all the colors really pop against the black. I paired it with a classic oversized handbag and strappy wedges. So... thoughts? Think you will give wearing black a chance this season?

You might have seen me dropping hints here and there but it's official! I am moving to LA in exactly a week from today! Are you surprised? I know I am! This opportunity kind of came out of nowhere but I jumped on it! If you know me, you know I have been wanting to move to a new city (specifically New York City) for quite some time. I am not going to NYC just yet (that will hopefully be next year), gonna take a little detour down to LA first. Just a few days ago I quit my full-time job which I have had for the last two years, gave notice to my apartment, about to sign a lease, and decided to go back to blogging and freelancing full-time. I did that for two years a few years back and I am ready for it again. Not gonna lie, I am scared and nervous but also anxious and excited. Life is short and sometimes you just gotta take the plunge. These photos couldn't be more appropriate... they were taken in Santa Monica less than two weeks ago when Jeremy and I took a roadtrip to LA. Little did we know we would be moving there.

My life is a blur lately, in a good way. I have been traveling so much that I don't even know what date it is. In the past 7 days, I was in LA, Germany and Yosemite. Let's start with LA, shall we? We took a roadtrip and stayed at Aloft in El Segundo near LAX last weekend. What a fun little hotel with so many colors and playful touches. I especially love the wxyz bar in the lobby and there was even a DJ (music was on point) on one of the days. Our room was modern and comfortable with a bed that made me not wanting to wake up in the morning. My favorite spot of the property though was the outdoor patio with fireplace, perfect for lounging and sipping on drinks in the evening! Thank you Aloft for hosting us, we will definitely be back!
