I remember rocking Baby-G when I was a kid, but as soon as I got a cell phone I ditched all my watches. Who need watches when you can check the time on your phone, right? The cool kids didn't so why would I? Now that I am older I love wearing them again, watches are classic and they make a great accessory too. The Pharmacist Watch by Sanctuary in particular is the epitome of modern classic luxury. I am wearing the royal blue and rose gold combo with a black watch face while Jeremy is wearing the pecan brown and gold combo with a blue watch face. We are also rocking aviator sunglasses by Sanctuary. These accessories got us feeling dapper so we dressed up a bit fancier than usual and shot these photos up on a rooftop at sunset. We clean up nicely, don't we?

Earlier this year I made a promise to myself that I will travel more, for at least once a month, whether it be a staycation just a couple hours away or a vacation that requires me to hop on a plane. Well, I am making it happen! In the past 5 months I have traveled to 7 different places and it truly gives me joy. As much as I love to travel far and wide, sometimes staying local is nice because traveling can be exhausting. We recently checked out The Clement in Palo Alto, an all-inclusive luxury hotel, and it was amazing! Imagine this... having all the drinks and food you can possibly think of (yes, open bar and ice cream too!) at any time of the day anywhere on the property. It's basically having your own private chef, we actually watched him cook in the open kitchen! Oh and our suite... it was absolutely beautiful! But my favorite was definitely the rooftop pool and spa with lovely cabanas and fireplace. The Clement Palo Alto was truly a 6-star experience, thank you so much for hosting us!

Where did time go? I can't believe it has already been three weeks since my Pinnacles National Park and Big Sur adventure! We drove to Pinnacles National Park just after midnight and hiked in the dark. It was my first time hiking in the wilderness at night and I definitely had a few Blair Witch Project and Naked and Afraid moments but it was so worth it! I have never seen so many stars in the sky, and not only did I see stars, I saw the Milky Way with my naked eyes! Part of this trip was to see the Milky Way because my friends are into astrophotography. After shooting tons of photos, we finally made our way back to the car around 3am. We decided to camp out in the car and nap for an hour and half to hike up to the reservoir at sunrise. 5am rolled around and we climbed over boulders and crawled through caves (literally) and arrived at the reservoir at dawn. There was a thin layer of fog hovering just above the water, it was one of the most magical and serene thing I have ever seen.

After taking a million photos, we hiked our way back to the car and finally went back to our hotel to freshen up and then it was off to Big Sur! We checked into our suite at Big Sur River Inn and spent the afternoon hanging out on the river, grabbed dinner, and then took a nap before venturing out at night to catch the Milky Way again. However, we didn't pull an all nighter this time. We departed the next day and of course stopped by Bixby Bridge and Point Lobos on the way back home. What a memorable and adventurous weekend, hiked miles and miles and saw many wonders of nature.

I am currently having a serious case of wanderlust, especially somewhere tropical... and this outfit is not helping! It reminds me of last year when I went to Cabo and now I want to go to Tulum, the Bahamas and Havana with this outfit. I am wearing INC International Concepts from head to toe... this denim chambray dress is so much fun, I just want to spin around in it all day. I love the one-shoulder silhouette and the ruffle details. I styled it with a bright coral crossbody bag with whipstitch detailing, a playful beaded ball and tassel necklace, and these amazing snake print mules with floral embroidery. Summer should be fun and colorful so why not dress the part?

Life is a constant up and down, but ultimately it is up to you to make it golden. Much like golden hour at Golden Gate Park... You can either complain about the cold and the wind or you can embrace the soft light and enjoy the serenity. We chose the latter and got some nice shots. The peachy sunset complemented my white and blue outfit quite nicely. I love this off-shoulder top (yes, I can't get away from this summer trend) by INC International Concepts with the most beautiful stripes, stitching and embroidery! I styled it with a pair of denim from PacSun, cute goat suede ballet flats by Katharine Page, signature crossbody bag by Michael Kors, and my classic Ray-Bans. Everyday can be golden if you make it to be.
