Meet Daphne, the dress! I got this dress by Dahlia awhile ago but held out until Thanksgiving Day to wear it! Trust me, it was tough to wait so long but it was just so perfect for the occasion. It has the sweetest brocade print with the loveliest fit and flare shape in a material that is thick but not heavy. I layered a chiffon blouse with double collar underneath to give it a more tailored look and finished with matching shoes and bag. I don't know what it is but Dahlia dresses always fit me like a dream. I own a few and I have another one coming in the mail very soon which I can't wait to show you! Lastly, in case you are wondering, these photos were taken at the Morcom Rose Garden in Oakland. My family lives about 5 minutes from there and I took these photos right before I feasted on turkey and yams! If you are ever in the area, this garden is worth checking out! It's huge and beautiful, it's a hidden gem!

I don't really care for amusement parks, I guess rollercoasters and pirate boats just aren't as exciting when you get older. However, an empty amusement park does amuse me. A place full of action and laughter suddenly becomes so calm and eerie. I live about 15-minute walking distance from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and I love taking strolls there when it's closed! When I went there a few days ago, I wore the girliest and the most whimsical dress ever! A sheer embroidered lace dress with chiffon pieces shaped like roses all over! It is definitely one of the most darling dresses I own. I carried my kitty studded clutch and wore a fun pair of gold glitter boots to complete this magical look!

Trench coat is a classic wardrobe staple. Everyone needs at least one! I have a few... your typical style in khaki tones, simple cut with unexpected shades, and fancier ones with interesting details. The one I am wearing here is definitely on the fancier side, it has leather accent and full of embroidered floral pattern! With a statement piece like that, I kept the outfit simple with a dress (underneath), tights, and cat flats.

The weather really ought to pick a temperature and stick with it! Does it bother anyone that I am wearing a tank top in one post and a thick coat in the next? Anyways, I really can't wait til the weather gets cold so I can have fun with layering and wear all my cute coats... such as this leopard print coat Dolce Vita gifted me. I love the unconventional red leopard print, it definitely makes it more unique and brightens up a gloomy day. A coat like that speaks for itself, so I kept the rest of the outfit rather simple with black high waisted disco pants and black booties.

There is a little town about 10 minutes south of Santa Cruz called Capitola. It has a beautiful stripe of colorful houses right along the beach front. It's amazing! These photos were taken last week before the weather cooled down dramatically, the day we went to Capitola it was high up in the 80s! So, I took advantage of it and wore this cute little pinafore gifted from Australian designer Ashiya of House of Cards. This pinafore is perfect all year around! Here, I paired it with a teal chiffon blouse with the most gorgeous and intricate scallop collar, some fun shades, sparkly flats, and a vintage carry on. This will probably be the last summer-looking outfit you'll see since it seems like it is finally cold now! Yay!
