Back in August, I started using a new shaving tool by Philips called SatinShave Advanced. It is a few months later now and I am still loving it! Not only do I use it regularly, I have also taken it on several trips and would love to share with you how incredible and convenient the SatinShave Advanced is.

When I first tested out this product, the one thing that stood out to me was its rechargeable battery. As someone who travels often and takes a lot of outfits, I am limited to what I can pack. It's so nice that I don't have to pack the charger with me because once charged, the SatinShave Advanced can last up to an hour! On top of that, the tool itself is light and compact and doesn't take up any room. How convenient!

As for its functionality, I've definitely noticed the difference between shaving with the Philips SatinShave Advanced vs typical razor blades. When shaving my legs, bikini area and underarms, I've experienced less cuts and irritations and overall my skin is a lot smoother! The SatinShave Advanced has a round pearl-tip trimmer in front of as well as behind the shaving foil which helps to prevent irritation while the floating foil glides seamlessly close to the skin for an even shave. Oh, did I also mention this shaver can be used wet or dry?

Did I convince you yet? You can get a SatinShave Advanced right here!

For the most part, my skin is pretty clear and I am lucky that I don't have any major issues. However, I wish my pores were smaller. I am excited to give Clarins Pore Control Serum a try and see how its firming Vine Flower cells and mattifying Organic Strawberry Tree fruit extracts can help me tighten and refine my pores! Because you know... Serum is important! Unlike moisturizer, serum usually includes active ingredients that bring antioxidants to the skin and restore cell growth. Clarins Pore Control Serum contains Tamarind which naturally exfoliates pores to help smooth and refine skin's texture for a boost of radiance. I use it each morning and night and it's quickly becoming part of my beauty routine. The application tip also makes it easy to use, I warm it between my palms and then apply to my entire face, following with a moisturizer. I've been using it for a few months now and my skin is definitely smoother and more radiant! This is going to be a stable in my beauty regimen from here on...

I was drafting an Instagram post when I began listing all the skincare, makeup and hair products I am currently using (and loving) and thought to myself, "Wait a sec, I should write a beauty post!" So here I am! When it comes to my beauty routine, I am fairly low maintenance and believe it or not, it usually only takes me about 15-20 minute to get ready. It certainly helps that I am a shower-at-night person because washing and blow-drying my hair at night saves me 20 min in the morning. Strangely but fortunately, my hair behaves when I sleep so I only need to brush it real quick when I wake up.

For my daily skincare, I am currently using Clarins Pore Control Serum along with Freck Rich Bitch Cactus + Vitamin C Moisturizer and the So Jelly Cactus Eye Jelly. I really love how light and fresh these smell!

For makeup... I swear by Bobbi Brown when it comes to foundation and concealer! I use Skin Long Wear Foundation SPF 15 in Natural and Skin Foundation Stick in Warm Beige. I contour with Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer and highlight with The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter. For blush, I am obsessed with Lilah B. Lip & Cheek Duo in Beige/Nude. It's so creamy and pigmented yet super light and last all day! As for brows... oh man... I am TERRIBLE at drawing my brows (I got microbladed long time ago but I need to do that again soon!) but I don't seem to have any trouble using Total Temptation Brow Definer by Maybelline. For my eyes, I usually don't do ANYTHING with them unless I am going out or doing something fancy because my lash extension from Blink Bar is simply magical and I don't need any eye makeup. However, when I go out to a nice dinner or an event, then I use either the Dolce Vita Luxury Palette by Charlotte Tilbury or the Urban Decay Cherry Naked Palette and finish off with a cat eye using Fenty Flyliner Liquid Eyeliner. Is it odd that I only use liquid when it comes to eyeliner? Anything else won't last on my eyes and I've used only liquid eyeliners since I was a teenager. Mascara, on the other hand, is completely out of the picture ever since I go to Blink Bar for my volume lash extension. Seriously, it changed my life! Lipstick... is also not really in my life anymore. These days I mainly use Clarins Light Lip Comfort Oil because it's glossy, has a tint of color, and smells sooo good. If I am going to an event, then I usually rock some red lips.

Moving onto hair! Ever since I got my blunt bob and a new color, I've been obsessed! It's only been three weeks but I can't even imagine myself with long hair now. Crazy right? To keep my rosy blonde hair cool, I use Amika Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner once a week. Other days, I use Kérastase Densify Shampoo and Conditioner. I apply Kérastase Lait de Soie Blow-dry Hair Milk before blow-drying my hair. Containing both coconut oil and Moroccan Argan oil, it controls frizz, detangles, and protects hair from heat. I wash my hair once every two days and the dry shampoo by Klorane keeps my hair feeling fresh in between wash. I've used a fair share of dry shampoos and this one is by far the best! Lastly, for styling and volume, I alternate between Living Proof Dry Volume Blast and Ouai Volume Spray.

Summer is fast approaching and when the weather is hot I gravitate toward beauty products that are light yet still give me the look that I want. Clarins has two luscious lip collections that are exactly what I am looking for! The Instant Light Comfort Lip Oil is great for that sweet effortless everyday look... a natural and soft tint of color with a glossy finish infused with 100% pure plant oils to keep lips hydrated. Love how it nourishes and it's super soothing. On the other hand, when I am feeling sassier, I use the Water Lip Stain for a bolder look. Put on one layer for a pop of color or apply a few times for a more intense look. It contains 77% water for liquid texture that dries with a matte finish, and moisturizes lips with aloe vera, raspberry water and Clarins anti-pollution complex. It is also super long lasting too! I love them both but if I must pick, I have to be #teamsweet because for me summer is all about being lighter and more natural! What about you? Are you #teamsweet or #teamsassy?

This winter weather (although some days in LA are quite warm) has gotten my skin feeling rather dull and dry. Luckily, Clarins just released six SOS Primers for all my beauty needs! 00 Universal Light boosts radiance, 01 Rose minimizes signs of fatigue, 02 Peach blurs imperfections, 03 Coral visibly minimizes dark spots, 04 Green diminishes redness, and 05 Lavender visibly brightens sallow skin. The two primers I use most are 00 and 01 because as someone who is always working late hours and feeling exhausted, my skin is constantly craving for freshness and glow. I also love that you can either apply the primers before foundation or mix them with your foundation. How convenient! Oh and the pastel packaging is just too pretty! Nicely done, Clarins!

The holiday is right around the corner, festivities are beginning to pop up here and there (and everywhere). Dressing up for different occasions sure is fun but can also be stressful, luckily Marshalls has everything I need. I picked up this super soft cashmere cocoon sweater with faux fur details and a pair of showstopping loafers bedazzled with grommets and jewels as my shopping outfit. I wanted to shop in a comfy yet stylish outfit because who wants to wear 5-inch heels when you are running around trying to find gifts and carrying shopping bags? Shopping made easy when I make Marshalls my one-stop shop since it carries a wide selection of high-quality and brand-name products. You never know what is in store for you when you walk into a Marshalls... I was pleasantly surprised to find tons of beauty products and gift sets such as this amazing contour kit, lip creams, and some must-have brushes which I picked up for friends and family. This holiday season, do yourself a favor and shop at Marshalls! You can thank me later.
