Few months ago, I wrote a couple of posts that were not my typical personal outfit posts. I was testing the water and trying to figure out the direction in which I wish to take my blog to. Fashion and personal style will forever be my number one priority but I have decided to include and create different kinds of content. With this blog being my main focus at the moment, I am going to post occasionally of other things that are dear to me such as jewelry, home decor, floral arrangement, food, etc. To kick start, I have picked out some gifting ideas for both the ladies and the gents from John Lewis. Whether it be a birthday, an anniversary, or other special occasions, I often find myself having a hard time finding the perfect gifts. I am sure most of you can relate to that! John Lewis carries brands such as Ted Baker, Prada, YSL, Kate Spade, Hugo Boss, Mulberry, Ray Ban, etc. Oh, and did I mention it even has an entire gift section categorized by recipient, occasion, and interest? Now that's the ultimate one-stop shop!

I paid a visit to the Getty Villa during my whirlwind trip to LA last week. The drive along the coast up to Malibu was glorious; the traffic, not so much. The crowd at the Getty Villa was so intimate it felt nothing like a typical museum. I could enjoy the art and appreciate the history without bumping shoulders with people and take photos of amazing architecture without having to wait for my turn. Everything was beautiful and serene. As for my look... these white ornate heels from Choies were perfect. The Grecian leafy design went very well with all the ancient Greek and Roman motifs at the Villa. I paired them with a split open back knit top from ShopAKIRA (great for the hot LA weather) and an awesome vintage skirt from Veramode with checkers and floral looking so incredible together. Overall, it was a wonderful day with good company and great outfit.

Oh my, how amazing is this vintage jumpsuit!!! The jumpsuit itself is already awesome but the palm and leopard print makes it a hundred times better! I love that the palm print is not resonant of your typical over-the-top-tropical motif but has a stylized art deco feel to it. I also love that it is made of a super light and airy linen which was perfect for romping around LA during my trip last week. I couldn't help it but to match it with Lulu Frost's Nomad necklace with palm leaves and layered the Palisade necklace by Tiffany Kunz to give my bare neckline a more dramatic look. I also wore the two rings that I can't stop wearing as of late... Basal ring by Tiffany Kunz and Bohemian Bardot ring by Samantha Wills which you have probably seen on my blog multiple times. Lastly, I finished the rest of the outfit with simple black accessories and left the statement jumpsuit alone to speak for itself.

This is what I look like on vacation, trying to bear the heat and exhaustion. These photos were taken on day two at California Adventure by the Carthay Circle. I wore a sheer lace tunic as a dress because it was way way way too hot. It was perfectly light and flowy and I especially love the scalloped crochet details. I paired it with a vintage cheetah floppy hat and lovely bronze knotted sandals that are oh-so-grecian-looking!

There I was, standing in front of Small World in Fantasyland. When planning my outfits for Disneyland, I wanted to wear something that is fun and youthful yet comfortable to be in all day. So, this is what I came up with... black and white striped overall dress from Ark layered with a sheer lace crop tank, red vintage leather bag, and sparkly sequined daisy loafers from Choies to make the look a little bit more magical! And yes, I intentionally wore black white and red to match Mickey and Minnie!

Did anyone notice this blog had a little hiatus this past week? If you follow me on instagram, then you would know I was in Disneyland and LA. Of course I took photos while I was there but in the meanwhile, let me share with you an outfit I shot just a couple days before my trip... A vintage sunflower dress from Lady Bones Vintage layered with a crochet vest, vintage sandals from Amber City Vintage, and a gorgeous gold plated art deco leaf cuff by Tasha Hussey. What's better than prancing around in cream from head to toe? Oh, so glad to be back, I had missed blogging (and my two kitty cats) so very much!

Oh, how I love these pants with floral climbing down the sides! They are so refreshing! When I saw them at H&M a couple months ago I was so excited; but when I actually tried them on, I wasn't so thrilled. The extra small seriously fitted like a large but I couldn't resist the lovely print so I bought them anyway. I altered them and now they are the perfect summer pants! I paired it with an ultra light blush colored knit top which I twisted up to create this really awesome knot like effect, matching blush sunnies, and matching nude/blush and metallic heels by Sam Edelman. Thought I would add a splash of bright coral into the mix with this amazing Reese tote by Lauren Merkin because why not?
