I apologize for the lack of blog posts lately (you can keep up to date with me over on Instagram though) as I am still trying to adjust to this new city of mine. But I finally got around to posting my weekend adventure over in Malibu from a couple of weeks ago. The weather was perfect and all in all it was just a lovely day to be out by the ocean. I rocked my Cherry Bomb tee and denim shorts from PacSun, Gucci Marmont purse and cute slip-ons. I was, however, most excited about these ombre tassel earrings from Bauble Bar! I mean, fun earrings for a fun weekend, right?

I don't often write about/review beauty products, so when I do you know it's serious business. Clarins is one of my favorite beauty brands and when they sent me their new Double Serum, I thought I would it a try. I have been using it for a week now and I am already noticing the magic it is doing to my skin. This serum is packed with two serums... Clarins combines [20+1] potent anti-aging plant extracts, both water (hydric) and oil-soluble (lipidic), to assure a perfect affinity with your skin, speedy absorption, and a perfectly sheer result. Another awesome feature is the actual bottle, how it has a dual chamber and dial pump which allows a customized amount of serum (tiny drop or power shot) to be pumped according to your needs. Oh, did I also mention how good it smell? Thanks Clarins, I will be using my #NextGenSerum daily!

My every day is usually one giant to-do list... responding to emails, planning out content, shooting photos, editing photos, running errands, hitting the gym, cooking, etc. With this busy lifestyle (and LA traffic), I am always on the lookout for pieces that are versatile to add to my wardrobe. This black floral high-low dress by INC International Concepts is the perfect example. It is versatile because not only can I dress it down during the day but I can also dress it up in the evening. Sometimes you just don't have the time or energy to change outfit throughout the day and when that is the case, all you need is to pair it with the right accessories! These darling pink velvet heels elevate the look while the pearl clutch glams it all up.

Winter in Seattle and summer in Seattle are two different stories. I went there for the first time last December (you can check out that travel diary here) and visited again couple of weeks ago, it almost felt like two distinct cities. Weather was drastically different, actually I didn't expect Seattle to be that hot, perhaps I just happened to be there during that one week of abnormal heatwave. It was a quick trip but enough time for me to discover new spots and revisit old favorites. We stayed at the Arctic Club downtown (this is the very Wes Anderson-esque building I spotted on my last trip), ate our ways through Queen Ann, bar hopped in Capitol Hill, drank coffee in Pioneer Square, people watched at Pike Place, and caught a lovely sunset on the Space Needle.

There are so many good eats in Seattle but my favorite is a bit hidden. They don't call it hidden gem for no reason! Tucked away in North Capitol Hill, Tallulah's is a darling neighborhood cafe with amazing food, great drinks, and stunning decor worthy of photographing from one corner to another! It was a pleasantly warm day so we sat out in the patio and within three seconds of looking at the menu, the "Rosé Paloma" immediately caught my eyes. Two of my favorite things combined AND frozen? Sold! We snacked on these mouthwatering blistered shishito peppers (the sweetness of honey mixed with the spiciness of peppers with a pinch of sea salt was so flavorful) before diving into our entrées. I went for the grilled whole trout while Jeremy had the hanger steak frites. Nom nom! If you are ever in Seattle, go dine at Tallulah's! You won't regret it!

Yosemite is always a good idea. July Fourth in Yosemite, however, was a bad bad bad idea! Now don't get me wrong... Yosemite was just as beautiful as any other times of the year but the amount of people there was insane. We should have known better but the thought of camping with a bonfire underneath the stars on Fourth of July sounded real good at the time. And by camping, I really meant "glamping". We stayed in a quaint little cabin at the Yosemite RV Resort and Campground equipped with a small kitchen, private bathroom, loft for additional guests, private patio, firepit, and grill! Besides cabins, this RVC Outdoor Destinations property also has cottages, yurts, and areas for tents and RVs. Did I also mention its location in Coarsegold is also very conveniently located near Yosemite Valley and Bass Lake? Yosemite is always beautiful and fun but word of advice, avoid it at all cost on holiday weekends!
