Each time I begin to write a post, I usually have a good idea as to where to start or what I want to focus on. This time, however, I am stuck. There is so much I want to talk about! I suppose I will just get right to it... I styled this look around three pieces of jewelry from Lulu Frost's Supernova collection - the Big Bang necklace, the Solar bracelet and the Orbit bracelet. They look great individually but even better altogether. Since the glass stones on the necklace are iridescent, I wanted to bring out the little tint of coral with these awesome pants. I thrifted these vintage high waisted wide-leg pants for THREE dollars, they are perfectly petite and fit like a dream (no alteration needed). And the best part is that they make me look super tall! Can you tell I am actually only 5'2"? Oh and how I love a statement clutch! This dalmation-leopard print clutch from Sole Society is amazing. I am especially digging the zippered sides that are expandable which give it a more interesting shape! I have sort of gone clutch crazy lately so you will be seeing plenty more fancy clutches real soon!

Black and white and vice versa, talk about mixing print! Unlike most outfits where there is usually a piece or two that really stands out, I love every single pieces I am wearing here. Lets start with the kimono, shall we? This kimono duster from Lulu*s has a gorgeous floral and tile-like motif, asymmetrical hem, and I love that it is dramatically flowy. I paired it with these silky paisley shorts with a similar yet different print. White and black to go with black and white because why not? Wearing vintage from head to toes (minus the glasses), this outfit screams picnic basket, table cloth, and summer and I am totally ok with that! The weather has been so incredibly warm lately and this look was perfect for a stroll along the coast. This red checkered dress from Wear it Well Vintage is darling, I love the sweetheart cut in the front and especially the Y-shaped back. I thought pairing it with a woven straw bag with cute red roses on it was sort of perfect.

Ok, so this is going to be as casual as I'll ever get. Seriously though, I am one of those girls who put on makeup just to go grocery shopping. One can never have too many striped basics and the ones by 19 4t are soft as clouds! I paired them with these oh-so-comfy high waisted cotton harlem pants that are chic and edgy, I especially love the bow tied at waist and the extra long cuffs. Slipped on my Jeffrey Campbell Tripoli and called it a day!

As Casual As It Gets

Ok, so this is going to be as casual as I'll ever get. Seriously though, I am one of those girls who put on makeup just to go grocery shopping. I don't do the casual thing very well, so this is my version of it. Being comfortable in essential pieces while looking chic and not rolled out of bed. I am layering a striped tee with a striped blazer, both by 19 4t, to keep this basic look a little more interesting. Loly in the Sky makes the most comfortable loafers in nice colors, fun patterns, and cute sayings! I paired my black Elvira with a darling chiffon dress from OASAP. Cut outs here, cut outs there, cut outs everywhere. As summer winds down to its end, I am trying to wear every possible pieces of sheer and airy clothing. This floral dress is the absolute sweetest! I love the periwinkle and buttery daisies combined with the little mauve brown flowers. Those bow cut outs on the sleeves are darling and did I mention this dress also fits like a dream? I wore my periwinkle boots by Plomo to go with the dress (I love these shoes, I mean, how often do you see powder periwinkle colored shoes?), a gray sunhat with a giant bow, and this lovely gray satchel from Sole Society with the most awesome cut outs.

I love the periwinkle and buttery daisies combined with the little mauve brown flowers. Those bow cut outs on the sleeves are darling and did I mention this dress also fits like a dream?
