I always say floral is overrated, that is, until I come across a really good floral print. Just like this dress from Azalea, I love that it is not a typical rose or daisy, but a peony which is my absolute favorite! The ruffles also make it ten times cuter and the wrap silhouette is quite flattering as well! Thought I would bring out the wine and pink of the floral with my new bag from Kate Spade. On a different note, I can't believe today is the last day of November! Excited for December and a brand new year ahead!

A few weeks ago, I ventured up to Sonoma with some fellow bloggers and spent a lovely afternoon at Viansa Winery. I have been to a good amount of wineries in both Sonoma and Napa and Viansa is definitely one of the most picturesque. I especially love the cute little outlooks perched along the hillside overlooking the vineyards and the wetlands! Excellent wine, great food, delightful company... couldn't ask more a more wonderful weekend! As for my outfit, I tend to always wear a hat (for some reasons) whenever I am in wine country. I had just gotten this limited edition Harper fedora from Goorin Bros the week prior and couldn't wait to wear it. It was perfect for this occasion, along with my cold shoulder dress from Azalea and my booties from Madewell!

Currently planning yet another trip to NYC. I have never been there in the winter time, so that should be fun, even if I have to check in an extra bag for all my sweaters and coats. In the meanwhile, here are photos from my shoot at The High Line with photographer Nick Starichenko. I told Nick I wanted to capture that New York cityscape vibe and so we went to The High Line and then over to the Flatiron (post of that coming up next). I am wearing a ribs and ruffles sweater by Free People from Macy's, wrapped choker necklace, over the knee boots, and a suede fringed bag from Madewell!

I have had so many photos taken in my lifetime (well, at least for the last 4 blogging years) and I can proudly say that these are some of my absolute favorites! Often times people don't understand and can't appreciate the amount of work and energy put behind each photograph. So many factors are involved and taken into consideration, as well as the pre- and post-production. I was flying out of JFK at 10:30 one Monday morning but photographer Daniel Glazer and I were determined to get these shots so we made it happened! I woke up at 6am, packed, checked out of my hotel, and met up with him at 7am to shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge. The sun was just rising and the light was perfectly filtered and soft. Despite the fact that I was freezing in this lovely Free People open-back dress, everything went accordingly!

The best thing about Fall (in terms of fashion) is layering. This is a very typical answer, I know, but it is true! Nearly a month ago, I flew to NYC for a work event where I represented Le Tote (if you don't already know, I am their in-house stylist) and gave styling tips at The Knot x Crate & Barrel event in SoHo. I wanted to do some fun layering so I threw together this combo... a black jumpsuit layered with a leopard print blouse, topped with a blush leather and suede jacket, and accessorized with a green purse and scalloped heels. Wow, looking at these photos is making me miss New York a ton!
