MEOW! These cat tights are out of this world, oh my! The best part is that one of the cat on there looks very much like my real life kitty cat Ravi! Anyways, since they are such a bold and statement piece, I kept the outfit rather simple with a peter pan collar dress layered underneath a holey knit sweater. To pull everything together, I thought these colorblock heeled oxfords were kind of perfect. They have both gray and orange to match the tights, dress and sweater...

It was the first day of fall and it was rather warm! As you might have noticed that I have recently developed a love toward shooting in natural setting, I figured I should take advantage of that while it is still warm out, comes winter it would be too cold to shoot along the coast in the freezing wind. Anyways, let's move on to the outfit, shall we? A dress full of pleats and peter pan collar... yes please! I adore the flowy shape of this dress and how the pleats move as you walk, it is just lovely. I brought out the nude blush tone of the collar with matching accessories and shoes. Take a closer look at the clutch, what do you see? The gold details are little cat shaped studs! Aren't they amazing? Not to mention those giant tasseled zipper handles as well! As for the shoes, the Yelena by Sam Edelman is everything you want in a perfect pair of heeled sandals! Simple design with a chic silhouette, neutral shade that goes with everything and metallic accent to add that wow factor. To make it more fun, I paired them with shimmery ruffles socks. Lastly, I piled on tons of bracelets to complete the look. It's funny to think that a year ago I hated wearing rings or bracelets, but now I feel utterly out of place without them.

Goodbye summer, hello fall! I took a lovely evening stroll yesterday and enjoyed the last official day of summer. The sky was all shades of blue, pink, and orange, leaves were everywhere, it truly looked like autumn for a moment. Summertime is perfect for piling on tons of bracelets and rings on bare wrists and arms, fall on the contrary is really about finding some simple yet special jewelry pieces. Let's face it, wearing multiple bracelets underneath a sweater is not comfortable, and not to mention how annoying it is when jewelry gets caught on knits! So, I am really excited to have found Eclectic Eccentricity, a jewelry boutique based in the UK. Everything is handmade, whimsical, and nostalgic. They sent over three of my favorite pieces and I am absolutely in love! The delicate honeycomb and bee necklace, the adorable fox head necklace (you can see my previous post featuring the fox necklace here), and the intricate feather bracelet. These pieces are perfect year-round but I will definitely be wearing them alot this fall! Check them out, there is something special for everyone!

When it comes to blogging, I normally stick to my usual outfit post and refrain myself from posting anything non-fashion related. Today will be an exception because I want to share with you the beautiful day I spent in Big Sur. I live in Santa Cruz which is only about 1 hour and 45 minutes away, I have always talked about going and we finally did yesterday! The weather was perfect, it was warm with a slight breeze, I couldn't think of a better time to be there. We drove over the iconic Bixby Bridge, had lunch at Nepenthe over looking the Pacific Ocean, hiked in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, and saw the McWay Falls. The water was so blue it was surreal! Everything was so beautiful! I wore a simple polkadot dress, easy vintage sandal-flats, and twisted my hair up into a bun to get it out of my face. Since I was out in the nature, I thought I would wear a lovely fox necklace gifted to me by Eclectic Eccentricity. It was only appropriate...

I feel like a modern day gypsy in this outfit. A flowy fishtail dress with amazing sheer swiss dot lace details, a denim jacket, a braided knit headband which I got from H&M at FNO, tons of rings and bracelets, and my new Lilly sandals by DV by Dolce Vita. These are another pair of shoes I snatched at a great deal from Solestruck's 100K sale. I love the leopard print pony hair with the lovely red accent, and the cut out heels are simply amazing!

Don't be mistaken now... I am not talking about Tripoli the city, I am talking about Tripoli the shoes. After lusting these babies by Jeffrey Campbell for months, I was finally able to snatch them up for a hundred dollar off the original price during Solestruck's 100K sale! They are everything I imagined! I love the contrast of the tough gunmetal hardware next to the soft suede leather material. The icy gray color is so unique and amazing that I even painted my nails light gray to match them! Oh, and did I mention they are super comfortable? These floral denim I recently got at work goes with the shoes perfectly as well, and then the denim goes with the fuzzy mint and cream sweater! I love this sweater so much that I even bought the M/L since the S/M was sold out everywhere I looked! It is seriously the softest thing ever! I apologize for the excessive amount of exclamation marks being used, I am just really excited about every pieces of this outfit!!!
