Heathman Hotel, Portland

I just got back from a mini getaway in Portland and I couldn't have stayed in a better place! Heathman Hotel is one of the last grand hotels to debut in downtown Portland during the Roaring 20’s and remains today a historic Portland landmark. It was so central to everywhere I wanted to go... 10 minutes from the East side where all the hip coffee shops and bars are, 20 minutes from St. John's Bridge and Cathedral Park, and 30 minutes from the Columbia River Gorge and Multnomah Falls. Its aesthetic is truly a mix of old and new (I say this in the most positive way). Old and classic with a library right in the middle of the hotel! Apparently, it is one of the world's largest signed copies libraries and each book is donated by an author who stayed at Heathman. How cool is that? The new and modern part comes with the room. My suite was so modern, sleek, and I love all the artwork on the walls! Oh, and did I mention from 4 to 6pm everyday it's beer o'clock where you can grab a local beer for free at the lobby?

I had such a lovely stay, thank you Heathman for hosting us!

Last but not least, big shoutout to the valet staff! Your running back and forth in the rain and hard work do not go unnoticed!
