Polka Safari

March 14, 2012

That little tabby isn't mine, he likes to hang around the house of my fiance's parents. Every time we visit, we would catch him sleeping on the porch or running out from behind a bush to greet us. He certainly hangs out there way more than his actual home, it's so funny! Anyways, a lightweight trench coat comes in handy on a windy day. I made this casual outfit a little more interesting by mixing patterns - polkadots and safari animals! You can't tell underneath the coat but it is a polkadots short sleeve knit top (not a sweater) over a dress (not a skirt) with safari animals. I like how you can make a piece of garment look so different depending on how to style it, the possibility is endless!
