Gold and Silver for New Year

Happy New Year, everyone! I rang in the new year with this beautiful vintage dress I purchased back in March of last year. So, unlike most people, I had known way in advanced what I was going to wear on this special day! Gold AND silver, it can't be more perfect than that! There are so many gorgeous details... the terrific amount of sparkles, the ornate borders, and the pleated design. Since the dress is such a statement piece, I kept the rest of the outfit simple with black tights and black shoes. Oh, and balloons! I went to the store and bought balloons solely for photo purposes! I couldn't help it!
