Denim is awesome, obviously. Unlike linen, it doesn't wrinkle up with every move. Unlike silk, it doesn't get snagged easily. Denim is multi-functional, low-maintenance, and most importantly it always makes you look good (well unless you purposefully try to look bad). My denim on denim look here is perfect for different occasions... weekend getaway, back to school, or transitioning from Summer to Fall. This gorgeous striped top with laced up details looks great with a denim bodycon skirt. Throw a chambray tunic over it or tie it around the waist, it looks amazing either way! All in all... denim conquers all!

I am really digging off-shoulder anything lately, especially with this heatwave we've been getting here in the SF Bay Area. There's something quite effortless with this look and I like that you can show a little bit of skin without looking tacky. I love this little number I am wearing... super light and flowy, cute balloon sleeves, and well you can simply never go wrong with black and white! I paired it with these mint denim shorts with floral crochet trim and these amazing GX by Gwen Stefani ankle cuff heels with woven and laced details. Another thing about the off-shoulder style is that, to me, it is an alternative to tube tops/ tube dresses which I absolutely hate. I love the way they look, I just hate having to re-adjust every two seconds (literally).

Summer's got me feeling bright and colorful, and my wardrobe certainly reflects that! Like my outfit here... neutral with a side of mustard, because why not? Let me just start by saying I don't find rompers inconvenient. In fact, quite the contrary! I just throw it on and don't have to think much of it. So comfy! I really love the embroidery on this one I am wearing, but the piece is pretty casual so I dress it up with this amazing mustard yellow trench coat (an oldie but a goodie). Trench is great, especially with this San Francisco Bay Area weather where we get fog in the morning and cooler temperature at night, but lightweight enough to lug around during the day. Lastly, I finished the look with these incredible loafers with black and mustard dotted calf-hair details!

I love cheesecake but I find it slightly heavy for summertime... So, instead of making an actual cheesecake, why not flip it around and make cheesecake stuffed strawberries instead? What a genius idea! You are eating more fruits than cheesecake but you still get that rich and creamy deliciousness in every bite! The best part is that you pretty much eyeball everything in this recipe according to your taste. So easy, so yummy, and most importantly your bikini body will thank you! ;)

What you need: Strawberries, cream cheese, powder sugar, vanilla extract, graham crackers

How to make:
1. Rinse and pat dry the strawberries. Cut around the top and hollow out the middle (but don't pierce through the bottom).
2. Cut the bottom tip of the strawberries flat, so that they can "stand up straight" on a plate.
3. Mix cream cheese, powder sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl. For your reference, I use 4oz cream cheese with 2tbsp sugar and 1tsp vanilla, for 8 strawberries. Add more sugar if you want sweeter.
4. Scoop mixture into the strawberries. I usually just use a spoon, but you can use a piping bag if you are feeling fancy!
5. Crumble up some graham crackers and sprinkle on top!

Summer is in full force here in the San Francisco Bay Area and I cannot resist palm prints of any kind, particularly this one from Show Me Your MuMu. I love how the touch of pink makes it a bit more sassy and flirty. I suppose that is why the print is called Key West Barbie! This halter dress is just easy breezy, so cute and comfortable. It looks darling with heels but I opted for flats since I was walking all over Berkeley visiting my alma mater (Go Bears!) and soaking up the sun down in the Marina. Not to mention how my pink Tieks flats with the signature teal sole match my dress perfectly! Are you into palm print? What print do you love wearing in the summertime?
