I can never have too many makeup bags or tiny pouches to hold my trinkets and what not. I am sure most ladies feel the same way. Another reason I have so many is because I don't like to use just one for a long period of time. I switch around to avoid it getting too dirty because no matter how careful I am, that lipstick will always find a way to pop out its cap and draw all over my bag! I recently discovered Lolo, an awesome line of bags in various shapes, colors, and silhouettes. The best part is that most of them are vinyl on vinyl! That means durable and easy to clean! There are so many cute patterns and designs but my favorites are the face silhouette, glittery lipsticks, 'hello gorgeous' with stripes, and 'Kiss & Make Up'. Aren't they just so lovely?

I have been feeling a bit off lately and trying to get back into the swing of things. Just taking it easy... funny how my wardrobe also reflects that. Honestly, these days I am just throwing on a pair of jeans and a top. However, I still feel the need to look pulled together though, I am just not a plain tee kind of girl. Luckily, I've got this gorgeous top by English Factory. Stripes and lace, two of my favorite things in one! I styled it with a pair of Levi's, a cute mint purse and these lovely striped flats with jewels on top. Nothing fancy, just a simple casual look for the week.

If you read my last post, you would know that I took a mini break from blogging this week. I have been on an emotional rollercoaster lately and needed time to deal with it; but the truth is, I just couldn't not blog for an entire week. Blogging has become such a huge part of my life that I just can't part with it, not now at least. I guess I also find some sort of comfort in it as well. About these photos... the connecting plate of my tripod was broken for the longest time and I finally got it replaced, and so yesterday I decided to take some self-portraits in my apartment. I love this crochet romper, the knit is so comfortable to lounge in all day long. I paired it with these printed calf hair slides, a darling watermelon woven clutch, and this incredible statement cuff! So there you have it... just me... simple, comfortable, at ease.

I have been posting every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for as long as I can remember. This week, however, I am taking a break from blogging for the first time in ages. I am taking a step back to reflect, focus on things I have neglected, and reevaluate what are most important to me in life. In the meanwhile, you can still catch some action over on my Instagram.

Happy April! I am so excited to start this month off with a post that is a little different... In a fantasy world, I would have at least 3 outfit changes a day (morning/day/night) if I could. In reality, I don't have a wardrobe on wheels or simply time to do so. Sometimes it's even more difficult when I have to go somewhere fancier at night after being out and about all day. Not only do I not have time to go home and change but I also can't lug around another separate outfit with me all day long. My solution? A piece of clothing that can easily be transformed from day to night. This black cap sleeve semi-fitted dress from purplemaroon is the perfect example. During the day, I paired it with these incredible gladiator leather sandals and a floppy fedora hat. At night, I simply switched my bucket bag for a clutch, put on a pearl necklace and slipped into these stunning red heels with a bow at the ankle. This dress is made of a stretchy t-shirt like material which is so comfortable to be in all day, not to mention how much I love the unique strap that wraps from the front to the low u-back. It might be just another LBD but it sure goes a long way!
