Winter in Seattle and summer in Seattle are two different stories. I went there for the first time last December (you can check out that travel diary here) and visited again couple of weeks ago, it almost felt like two distinct cities. Weather was drastically different, actually I didn't expect Seattle to be that hot, perhaps I just happened to be there during that one week of abnormal heatwave. It was a quick trip but enough time for me to discover new spots and revisit old favorites. We stayed at the Arctic Club downtown (this is the very Wes Anderson-esque building I spotted on my last trip), ate our ways through Queen Ann, bar hopped in Capitol Hill, drank coffee in Pioneer Square, people watched at Pike Place, and caught a lovely sunset on the Space Needle.
