Portland Travel Diary

So I finally made it up to Portland! Not sure why it took me so long when it's only less than an hour and a half plane ride away. I knew Portland was very laid back, but it was a lot more chill than I had imagined. Luckily it didn't rain too much while we were there, in fact Sunday was sunny! We stayed at Hotel Rose downtown and were greeted with champagne, cheese plate, and our favorite coconut water upon arrival. Our room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the city on the waterfront, and the comfiest bed I have ever slept in in a hotel. It seriously felt like I was sleeping in a cloud! The best part about Hotel Rose was its central location. We literally walked everywhere! Portland was relaxing, we pretty much spent the entire weekend drinking coffee and stuffing ourselves with good food. Anyways, I am excited to be checking off all the US cities on my bucket list this year. Next month, I am heading to St. Louis and Chicago (will be my first time for both)!
