Good as Gold

June 19, 2015

Visually, this golden field is beautiful. In reality, it's just dead dried grass. Ok, wow I didn't intend to sound so melancholy but I guess my point is... life isn't always what it seems. I wish I can say that my life is good as gold but that's not the case. It's been a really rough past few months and my blogging game has been totally lacking, but things are finally looking up. I have been busier than ever and I am excited to see what the future holds. So, there you have it, a little personal update. Moving onto the outfit... I wore this black and white number last weekend. Don't be fooled! It is not a dress (most people kept telling me "I love your dress!"), this striped bustier top and daisy embroidered lace skirt just happened to look really good together! I paired it with a mini satchel by Henri Bendel with cute tassel details and these amazing striped wedges by GX by Gwen Stefani! The weather in the San Francisco Bay Area has been glorious, hope it keeps up!

  6. The cropped top and skirt is a feminine combination. At first glance, it looks like a dress. Love the monochromatic look.
