Dream of Cream

Isn't it silly that I am redecorating my apartment even when I might be moving very soon? I just can't help it! I gave my bedroom a makeover with autumnal colors in the Fall to make it cozier (you can check out that post here) and now that Spring is here, I feel the need to freshen up with a lighter color scheme. I finally got my hands on a Moroccan wedding blanket. Here is a great article if you are not familiar with it. This beautiful decorative piece, shipped to me by The Boucherouite Shop all the way from Morocco, is handwoven out of wool, linen and cotton and embellished with sequins and fringes. Right now, I have it atop my bed but I might use it as a rug if my next apartment has hardwood floor. I also got some lovely pillows to complement it. A cable knit pillow by Mama Sherry's Knit Shack in what I like to call a lovely oatmeal color, the most luxurious pure merino wool chunky pillow by Colorways Gallery that my two cats basically think is their new bed, and a beautiful Moroccan wedding blanket inspired pillow made by Boho Pillow. I am definitely dreaming of cream this Spring and as a matter of fact, this is how I envision my entire new apartment to look like! Let this bedroom makeover be a test run!

  1. This bedroom is my idea of heaven! The fabrics, the layers and the colours are all perfect. I've followed your Instagram for ages and absolutely love your photography, but have only just found your blog. I wish I had sooner though, as it is truly gorgeous and I absolutely adore it!
