It Mustard Been Cold

November 9, 2012

It must have been cold if I were wearing sweater, jeans, and hat! Hot again, cold again, hot again, cold again... that seems to be the pattern lately. The past two days cooled down and I really hope it stay that way so I can bundle and layer up. It's funny to think that a year ago I rarely wore jeans or any types of pants, but with so many patterned pants/jeans surfacing in the recent year it is kind of hard to avoid them. I love these jeans with vertical stripes I got from work, so much better that they aren't black and white but black and beige! White is simply too stark. I paired them with a mustard sweater which I thrifted for $1.99 (that's right, a dollar and ninety nine cents!) and topped it with a wool boater hat. I finished the look with a playful touch by mixing the stripes with studded leopard flats and studded handbag.
