Rachel Comey Pegasus

July 14, 2012

Where do I begin... I remember seeing these Pegasus clogs by Rachel Comey for the very first time online back in Fall 2011. I found myself lusting over these shoes and I anticipated for them to be available in Spring 2012. Months later, they were finally available for sale on Solestruck, for $399.95. I might have a shoe addiction, but I just couldn't justify paying nearly 400 bucks on a single pair of shoes. Since then, I checked the site once in awhile hoping that they would go on sale. It finally went on sale for $289.95 a month ago and many sizes were starting to sell out and I thought to myself, "should I buy them now or wait for them to go lower (price)?" I decided to take a risk and held out a little longer even when I knew my size could sell out and I will never have a chance to get them. A few weeks ago, nearly a year later, Solestruck did a flash sale. I immediately went to check on the Pegasus clogs... they were $199.95 and had only size 5 and 7 left. I am a size 7 and so I bought them without even thinking for longer than five seconds. Right after I made the purchase, I checked the page again and only size 5 was available. Oh my god, I got the LAST size 7... it was meant to be!
