I don't typically post here on weekends (I certainly do on my Instagram though) but it's Valentine's Day so I feel like I should! You may or may not know that I have been engaged for some time. It will be 4 years later this month! It's been so long that some people have even forgotten that I am engaged! Over the past few years... Chris finished grad school and got his PhD, we moved to a new city, he got a new job, I have gone through many different freelance jobs, I still can't decide on a venue, etc. Now that we are more settled, we are finally planning to end this very long engagement, hopefully next year! I am excited to start planning the big day and I am thrilled to partner up with BHLDN for my first bridal collaboration! Since I don't have any events planned to wear this beautiful lace dress at the moment, I decided to shoot some self-portraits at home with a wall I DIYed with roses! Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I love heart shaped anything, I always have. I have also worn countless heart prints but I believe this is the first time I pulled a hearts-on-hearts look. But hey it's almost Valentine's Day so why not! This trench coat... do I even need to say anything about it? Just look at it! It is the best trench coat ever existed! I paired it with a heart print blouse with peter pan collar, black distressed denim, and a cute velvet heart shaped purse. Although I tried to keep the look neutral with black, white and khaki, I couldn't help to add a touch of red (my flats) for the occasion!

I can't think of a better way to pamper myself this Valentine's Day than with luxurious bath products and beautiful lingerie. I don't know about you but there's something very special and fancy about personalized and monogrammed gifts. This Valentine's Day, I teamed up with Leatherology and personalized a couple of wallets for my fiancé and myself. Treat your loved ones but don't forget to treat yourself too! Leatherology offers such great selection of styles and premium leathers that I had a difficult time deciding! I ended up with the Continental Snap Wallet in cognac for myself and the Bifold Wallet with Flap in espresso for my fiancé. And since it is a romantic occasion, I also got us a heart-shaped luggage tag monogrammed with C&T (I love how that looks like CAT). Now, let's hope he doesn't see this post until I give him his gift!
