I couldn't think of a better way to start Valentine's week than with this incredible geranium ombre cowl! Victory Garden Yarn has done it again, her cozy creations are always beautiful and softer than you can imagine! I love this geranium ombre cowl just as much as I love my snowdrop cowl, maybe even more! It looks like a layered cake and that is awesome! I wore a mint sweater, vintage high waisted riding pants, and a lovely pink faux fur headband from The Purple Genie. It has been raining the past few days and I've got to keep myself warm with cozy knit and plushy fur! As I am writing this posts and looking at the photos, I can't help but to wonder where the sun is? I have been waiting all winter for the weather to be actually cold and rainy, but now that it is I wish it isn't, at least not for another week! I have so many Valentine's Day looks I need to shoot still! Oh weather... always bad timing. Anyways, back to today's outfit. Prints are always fun but plain solid pieces can be interesting too. I am wearing a black turtleneck sweater layered with a burgundy leather jacket, royal blue flounce skirt, strappy heeled booties, and lastly an incredible cow hide clutch by Primecut to tie the whole look together.

Finally got around doing a "What's In My Bag?" post...
1. I've had this vintage Yves Saint Laurent leather wallet from my late grandma for years and it's still in great shape!
2. iPhone 4s in a black cat case. I used to have a mint one but it got dirty too quickly.
3. White pouch with gold dots from F21 that holds random things like makeup, bobby pins, hair ties, etc.
4. Gold business card case from F21 with "winning" embossed on it. I just got new cards for the new year too!
5. MAC dual purpose powder.
6. I am a big fan of NYX's lip products and am always carrying different shades of lipstick and lip cream.
7. Gotta have my hand sanitizer!
8. Is anyone not addicted to Eos?
9. I never go anywhere without my Canon Rebel XS.
10. The best smelling rose hand cream I got from Hong Kong. I love rose scented anything!

Neutral is my go-to palette, it simply can do no wrong. First order of business, can we take a moment and talk about this coat I am wearing? I haven't seen a piece of outerwear this amazing in a very long time! I mean, who would imagine beige, tan, and taupe looking so good together? I also love the asymmetrical collar, the leather accent, and the fact that it fits like a dream. Since the coat is a bit on the edgier side, I wore a girly chiffon dress with dainty lace collar underneath to soften the look. Second order of business... the shoes! The moment I saw these lace booties I knew I had to have them. And since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I have been carrying this heart shaped handbag, I love that it is a taupe gray color and not the cliché pink or red.

I wish I am more of a morning person, because there is something quite magical about the light early in the day. These photos were shot outside my cabin in Big Sur last week (if you recall reading my post about it here) and I am really pleased with how they turned out! I wore this vintage-looking shirtdress from Hong Kong I have had for years, now that I think about it, it might have been over ten years! I love how simple yet detailed it is... the embroidery, the high collar, and the laced hem. I paired it with these slingback booties from Forever 21's genuine leather collection that I can't keep off my feet and the Sia bag from Sole Society that arrived right in time for my trip! It is the perfect overnight bag! Hmm maybe now I will feel more motivated to wake up earlier to capture the dreaminess of the morning sunlight.
