I was never really into the off-the-shoulder look but it is slowly growing on me lately. Perhaps I am feeling a bit anxious for Spring and Summer, and so I gravitate toward pieces that make me feel like I am on vacation at some tropical locale. This particular off-the-shoulder top is gorgeous! I love the sheer crochet pattern and how the ruffles drape so nicely, not to mention white is always sleek and refreshing! I paired it with a ruched and knotted maxi skirt which balanced out the look... bare shoulders but covered up the rest with only a peek of the legs. Lastly, I accessorized with some bold stripes (purse), dots (flats) and a bit of spark (reflective sunglasses).

I wasn't joking when I said (in my last post) that I love wearing rompers while traveling. I packed three and wore two during my trip to Napa last weekend. These particular photos were snapped at Domaine Carneros which made me thought I was in Paris for a second (check out this instagram shot)! The chateau, the landscaping, and the view were all so beautiful! Anyways, back to the romper... I just love how cheerful it is! I don't usually opt for blue but the navy (more like a deep cobalt) makes such lovely contrast with the floral print. With my cute strappy wedged sandals and leather tote, I sure was ready to take on a day full of winery hopping!

We spent the last weekend in Napa celebrating our anniversary. It was the first time for both of us but certainly won't be the last time, especially when Napa is only an hour and a half away. I have always imagined Napa with picturesque landscapes resembling paintings and I was right! Just look at the photo above! Napa isn't just for wine lovers (we aren't big on drinking), there are plenty of other things to do. We hung out around downtown, checked out the Oxbow Public Market, and basically spent most of our time outdoor soaking up very bit of sunshine and enjoying all the beautiful sceneries. We also had a wonderful stay at The Meritage Resort and Spa which kindly hosted us. The view of the vineyard and the Grape Crusher statue from our room was especially delightful! Its location was very convenient as well, just 10 minutes from downtown and in close proximity to all the infamous wineries such as Artesa and Domaine Carneros which by the way were both beautiful! Napa, I'll be back!

I just got back from a mini getaway in Napa! Even though I am not a big wine drinker, it was fun just to check out different wineries and enjoy their spectacular views. These photos were taken at the vineyard of Meritage Resort where we stayed. I love romping around in a romper when I am traveling... simple, easy, yet cute. This particular one from 2020AVE was perfect for an evening out. I love the flowy chiffon, the statement bell sleeves, and of course the sheer lace back! I paired it with these awesome platformed slides by Koolaburra and a stunning confetti-like leather clutch by Henri Bendel which I am totally obsessed with! It's never too early to start thinking about spring, or even summer! You never know when a hot sunny day will sneak up on you especially if you live in California! It happens more often than you think! Whether I am out running errands, doing some shopping, or going to a picnic, a romper and a kimono are definitely my go-tos! The best part is that they are both very versatile and can easily transform my look from day to night! Here I am rocking a stunning sheer striped lace kimono paired with a checkered romper and straw panama hat from. Lastly, I gave the black and white look a pop of color with a yellow satchel and ballet flats!
