Valentine's Day might be over, but there is another reason to wear red. February is National Heart Month and I have teamed up with Tieks and American Heart Association to spread awareness by wearing a pair of Tieks ballet flats in cardinal red. Tieks ballet flats are on the pricier end but they are totally worth it in my opinion. They are made of the finest Italian leather and designed to fold and fit in a purse (super convenient for days when I am wearing heels and need a pair of flats handy to change into). In today's look, I paired my cardinal red Tieks with an ivory sweater, high waisted snake print pants, and a cream satchel which also has subtle reptile accent. I pulled the whole look together with my bold red lips and a vintage red leather belt.

A few months ago, I had the pleasure to team up with Melie Bianco as one of three bloggers to collaborate on their Spring/Summer Lookbook. This is one of the biggest commissioned projects I have ever been part of and I am very excited to share with you all! I styled and photographed 21 handbags from their Spring/Summer collection while the Melie Bianco team edited the photos, designed the layout and put the entire lookbook together. I am showing you a few pages from my 24-full page spread below along with some of my favorite outtakes which I edited myself. You can also view the lookbook in its entirety here. Oh, and if you happen to be in Vegas for WWDMagic, don't be surprised if you see me plastered all over Melie Bianco's booth!

Fashion isn't always about the glamour, some days I just want to be comfortable while looking put together. My fiancé and I travel all over the Bay Area on a weekly basis since we both have families around here. If I have to spend a round trip of 2+ hours in a car, I definitely try to avoid wearing anything fancy and having to worry about it getting wrinkled every five seconds. Sometimes I would bring a change of shoes, but I usually keep it fairly simple, just like my outfit here. Basic striped tee, skinny jeans, easy wrapped coat, and cute bow flats... all in beige and gray. After seeing and wearing an overwhelmingly amount of pink and red for Valentine's Day, this neutral color combo is rather refreshing.

I wish I am sitting here writing about my Valentine's Day look but instead I am writing about how I do not have one prepared! Believe me, I am quite upset about it as Valentine's Day is one of the most anticipated occasions for me each year. I love nothing more than being able to create the girliest outfits and wear the tackiest shade of pink. Since I am only able to take photos on the weekend, the rain which lasted for 5 days straight this past week completely ruined my plans. I had the most perfect outfit dreamed up to post today but chances are you will never see it now. It is very unlikely that I will photograph it at this point. Valentine's Day is over and I am no longer in the mood. Since I am feeling moody, I leave you with a photo of me shot a few weeks ago during my stay in Big Sur. It is far from what I am accustomed to and I wasn't sure if I would post it. Today, however, I find it quite fitting and it goes with my current state of mind.

PS. I, however, have been posting tons of sweet and cutesy things over on my instagram if you need your Valentine's Day fix!

I am feeling the love in the air so here is another Valentine's Day look for you! My outfit is composed of so many pretty things I don't even know where to begin. I am wearing a vintage sheer pleated dress with gorgeous ruched satin details on the front (which I forgot to photograph) and a cropped faux fur coat with giant collar and thick grosgrain piping details. I tie the two pieces together with my accessories... the most romantic clutch by Nila Anthony full of little lace rosettes, lovely floral tights, and of course my Loly in the Sky heart flats!
