Ruffles are still going strong and I am still not over this trend yet. It simply makes dressing up ten times easier, especially when you want to throw a top and a pair of jeans on in the morning when you are rushing out the door! I love this pink sweater with ruffle sleeves, paired with black ripped jeans, Coach patchwork leather bag, and floral embroidered mules with faux fur lining. On a different note, I am so excited that today is Friday. In fact, it is a long weekend for me as I am flying out to spend the weekend in Portland tomorrow! Can't wait!

I have been wearing tons of blush and pink tones lately so this weekend I decided to change things up. I wear very little blue, not that I don't like it, I just don't have very many blue colored pieces. Fossil recently sent me this beautiful blue leather crossbody bag from their Spring collection and I wanted to create an outfit that's fun yet different than what I am accustomed to. I paired it with a gray tee with darling ruffle sleeves and a fun pair of high-top sneakers from the Madewell and Vans collab. I even wore shorts because the weather was absolutely beautiful, definitely the warmest we've had in a while!

On lazy days, I just want to stay in my pajamas and be a couch potato. Although if I must go outside, I would throw on a plain white tee and a pair of comfy jeans. However, I would still like to look somewhat put together so this is what I do... There is no easier way to dress up a white tee than with a piece of statement jewelry. This Morgause Warrior Bib with layering tiers of crystals and chains from Bauble Bar is perfect for that purpose. Another way to style a white tee is with something that has an unexpected silhouette, like this longline blazer. And last but not least, throw on a pair of heels for instant sophistication!

One of my goals this year is to challenge myself to try new things. I feel like I am doing that, but not as much as I want to. One of the things I want to explore is street style (by that I mean, literally on a crosswalk, an intersection, a street). I avoided this in the past because I was always looking for that plain wall and clean sidewalk, people and cars were a big no nos. As I grow as an influencer/content creator, I appreciate the complexity and depth of the street style aesthetic more (when it is done right of course). Last Friday, I went down to Embarcadero by the Ferry building in my Hearts and Colors Top by Free People, Rangley leather loafers with cute tassels by Free People, white ripped denim by J Brand, and a darling fedora. I wasn't really feeling it because I was freezing and it was rush hour so there were tons of people around. However, when I saw the photos, I was pleasantly surprised! You can't tell it was busy and they turned out so dreamy!
