There is no such thing as too many sparkles! This outfit is bejeweled from head to toe, but not in a crazily tacky kind of way. The trick is keeping it toned down with a neutral only color scheme. I am wearing a vintage 60s shell top with crochet, embroidered, and beaded details from Fibers for Peace. I pair it with Levi wedged sandals from Sole Society with studs that look more like sequins and the Fair Lady necklace from JewelMint to create an ultra bedazzling look! Speaking of JewelMint, my friends over at JewelMint and Fashiolista have asked me to share with you this awesome contest they have going on for a chance to win a $150 gift voucher for JewelMint. Check it out here!

It is nice to have a minimalistic outfit once in awhile. Plain? Yes. Boring? No. In fact, a simple look can be quite refreshing; and that is exactly what I need after being overloaded with patterns lately. I love how each of these black and white pieces has its own character. White top with mesh detailing, black leather skirt with asymmetrical hem, London Sole ballet flats with classic quilted pattern, and Lauren Merkin Simone bag in the most buttery soft speckled leather that I am totally obsessed with!

I had so much fun shooting and making this .gif image with all the adorable ballet flats London Sole sent over for me to play with. I took the quirky route by pairing them with all kind of socks and tights. As you might have noticed, I have been styling these flats in my last couple of outfit posts. Let's be real, as much as I love a skyhigh platform or a skinny stiletto, they are not comfortable and quite dangerous especially if I am trying to climb down a cliff next to the ocean (this refers to my frequent photoshoot locations). Ballet flats are everywhere, but the truly comfortable ones with good quality are hard to come by. Thanks to London Sole, my ballet flats problem is solved! Not only do these flats come in different styles, colors, patterns, and textures, they are handmade in Europe using the finest leather. And if that's not tempting enough, what if I tell you Kate Middleton, Kate Moss, Anne Hathaway, and Olivia Palermo have all seen wearing them?

Dots and stripes again? Oh my! I did not intend for this outfit to look so similar to my last one. I normally try to change up my looks but coincidentally this outfit and the last somehow ended up being really really alike. My bad! Once again, I hope you enjoy the fun pattern mix of dots and stripes. This time, I am wearing the pleated shift dress in blush stripes from the Jason Wu x Target Collection, the cutest vintage polka dot bag from Runaround Sue Vintage, and yet another pair of London Sole flats. These Henrietta ballet flats in yellow patent croc are my favorite and I thought they look so darling with my two tone polka dot socks! Well, that is all for today. I hope everyone have a lovely weekend!

I am feeling the 60s vibe with this short hairdo. To most people, it might not be short at all, but to me this is the shortest my hair has ever been in over 10 years! I celebrated this new hair with an amazing vintage dress, darling little vintage purse, fun boater hat, and comfy chic flats! Vintage 60s dropwaist dress with both dots and stripes and a bow that makes me look like an wrapped present! It can't get better than that! Thank you Prose and Palaver for this precious piece! I paired it with a little vintage raffia purse from Dairy Farm Antiques with red flowers that resemble the dotted pattern on the dress. Threw on a red boater hat to bring out the red flowers on the purse and not to mention brown and red always look nice together. Finally, I slipped on these amazingly comfy yet chic leather ballet flats by London Sole. You will be seeing lots more of these flats soon because London Sole has kindly sent over a few pairs for me to play with! I can't wait to show them all to you!

We wandered around the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco the other day. Sadly, it was super windy so I only managed to snap these quick shots without hair flying all over my face. Otherwise I would have photographed at many different spots to capture the amazing architecture. An outfit composed of simple chiffon top, floral maxi skirt, flats, and some darling jewelry is perfect for staying comfy yet cute while I am out and about all day!

California weather might be pretty nice, but being next to the ocean some evenings can get quite cool. I always carry an extra top, sweater, or a light jacket for layering if I am out and about. If I can't cram a sweater into a small bag or if I don't want to bother holding it, then I have to be creative. An awesome vintage denim maxi dress and a basic stripes top can be worn in many different ways and here I am showing you two!
